Unless you are totally soused (e.g. Farwalker :-), you can't help but hear the loud banging of a staff pounding on the tavern's floor. The loud din in the bar quiets slightly as people pause to see what's going on. When you look up to hear what the commotion is all about, you see the Priest of Dasna standing beside booth C with his staff in hand and a wide smile on his face. Behind him you can see two people juggling brightly colored balls (the jester that entered recently and the gnomish man who's been at booth C for a while). The priest clears his throat and then announces loudly to the entire bar: "Your attention please! As many of you know, I am Danse - a priest of the Goddess DASNA, Patron of the Arts, Mistress of Deception, Lover of Beauty. I am VERY pleased to announce that I have arranged for a performance of the fine arts of juggling, tumbling, and all-around showmanship. "Let me introduce to you... JERRY (who seems to glow for a second) who brings his act from the far-off land of Ameeron! He will be joined by our locally famous showman WADE (who likewise glows for a moment) who's talents are well-known! "I ask only one thing in return. When they finish their exciting display of skill, please show your appreciation by acclamation. [Yell!] A loud `Huzzah' is enough for me! However, THEY may appreciate a more solid reward <wink!>." "And with no further ado... LET THE SHOW BEGIN!" [Danse sits back down with a big grin on his face and turns to the two performers. You are probably paying attention to the show, since priests of Dasna have this way of captivating audiences and fascinating onlookers.] [Above them glows the words "This performance brought to you through a grant from the Temple of Dasna - please stop by our desmesne when you visit the main square." ...
