Do you care about the views of the net, or the long-time users of rec.games.pbm that preceded you? What's wrong with using a mailing list to allow 'public' actions to be told to all witnesses? I agree that the fluff bandwidth caused by BAT has trailed off to a non-issue, just as predicted, but is this group the place where new 'play-by newsgroup' games should be conducted?
