Spumoni has been replaced by recently promoted General Alfredo Manicotti who, reportedly, knows where Syria is. After his promotion, the new commander of the second army was quoted as saying, "Manicotti, one 'n', one 'c', two 't's, got it?" "We realize that they have needs of their own. But one thinks that they should sympathize with our troops' thirst for beer." The conquest of the Turks is welcomed by all in the Czar's domain.
