The Russian A RUM SA UKR-SEV was cut by the German A GAL-RUM. Thus, everything bounces, and the German army is displaced by the Austrian A BUD-GAL attack. Secondly, the English F WME SF SPA(sc)-GOL support was NOT cut because the unit was attacked from GOL and NOT displaced, thanks to the two supports on WME from England which balanced the two supports for the Italian F GOL-WME. Again, thanks to everyone for getting turns in on time. I'd like to publish Summer adjustments as soon as I can, so as soon as I get retreat/disband orders from Germany and Italy, the results will be published. The Prime Minister announced today that the former Russian city will now be called New London. The Russian peasants were overjoyed to be liberated from the violent Czar's rule. The general consensus of the people is that more Russian cities will fall as long as the Czar continues his policy of unprovoked aggression against former allies. ===================================================================== Retreats: Italian Fleet Apulia must retreat and is disbanded. Today in a speech to the masses of the Ottoman Empire, Sultan Ben wept for his homeland and his people, the victims of the unprovoked anger of their neighbors. He asked the enemies of Turkey to show mercy to the inhabitants of Asia minor, and look beyond their lusts of power and land. He then ended the speach asking all the nations of Europe to find the goodwill in their hearts to aid the people of Turkey, whose own dispositions and outlooks on life kept the Turkish army out of the other major empires. He then retired to his palace, maybe never to be seen again, though rumor has it that the Sultan and the King of England are planning a party in Rio as soon as they are forced from Europe. -- George Spring 1906 of game HMS HOOD (BNC 1989HY) (GM'ed by Donald Daybell/daybell@usc.edu) New Russian player.
