Several people gather around the bboard to read the scroll. They are:

Hendri (the man with the zebra)
Giancarlo Tennone (and Whiskers the cat) well-dressed, two slim blades
T. Pascal

After reading the scroll, Hendri goes out in the street a moment, then
comes back in and gets his stuff and leaves.

Giancarlo reads the scroll, then moves into the back of the tavern,
where he sits down and begins conversing with a non-descript elf.

Hendri comes back into the inn, looking puzzled, puts his stuff back
down, and moves into the back of the inn looking around. He mutters
briefly to himself, then heads carefully towards table nine. He bends
down to look under the table, and is surprised by the appearance of a
non-descript gnome and a well-dressed swordsman (Giancarlo), who
materialize out of the thick air of the tavern. Giancarlo had apparently
let without anyone noticing, but he's back now.
