I have received a veto or vetoes of the draw vote conducted last time.  As
a result we will play Fall, 1907.  Unfortunately, I do not yet have moves
from everyone--perhaps you were surprised that the draw was vetoed?  If you
did not send moves in, please do so as soon as possible.  I will
adjudicate the Fall, 1907 season as soon as I can.

GAME NOTES:

I received a veto of the draw, so the game continues.  It is common for
someone to forget to vote, and I don't like to have the game end because
someone forgets.  Moreover, once I allow that person a veto I think it's
only fair to let everyone have a veto.  This is why my houserules are
written as they are.

A concession to Germany is proposed.  Please vote on it with your orders
for Winter, 1907.  Vote "yes" if you agree that Germany should win and "no"
if you don't.  One "no" vote is enough to defeat a concession--concessions
must be unanimous.

The deadline for concession votes and Winter, 1907 orders is
***Sunday, February 18 at 10PM EST***.  Please submit orders even if you
vote "yes"---if someone else votes "no" the game will continue.

I left out a part of the adjudication.  We actually have two distinct
concession proposals--one to Russia and one to Germany.  Please vote on
both with your Winter, 1907 orders.  I might add that if both proposals
appear to have passed, that will kill them both, since it's only possible
for one person to win.

Three folks got their first choice, three their second and one
guy was unlucky and got stuck with a third choice.

Well, concerning the house rules, I want to keep it simple.

1. Spring/Fall deadlines are at Sunday 22:00 h (MET).
2. I intend to have a one move per week routine.
3. Summer/Winter deadlines are at Tuesday 22:00 h (MET).
4. Unless you decide otherwise Black press will be allowed.
5. Folks who miss the deadline will get some trouble with the GM. :-)
6. You can send in whatever you want, as long as it's comprehensable
   for the GM. (So be aware, he's not THAT high IQed). ;-)

I think this will do.

Next deadlines (if this is okay with you):

Winter 00 (only press): Thursday February 15 1990, at 22:00 (MET).
Spring 01 (press and orders): Sunday February 18 1990, at 22:00 (MET).
