pbm - discussion and playing From: ripley@tubopal.UUCP (Hans-Ch. Eckert) Date: Wed, 28 Mar 1990 03:09:57 +0000 Hello. I'm quite interested in discussions *about* pbm's, but I don't want to participate into net-pbm's which take place in this newsgroup. In my opinion, this one is for discussion. For playing, a mailing-list is much more suitable... Where is the logic in posting every 20th message of these alternate reality threads anyway? Too few to follow what's going on, too much to ignore them all. (Yes I know about kill-files, but some people don't have that). IMHO, a dedicated group for all those diplomacy-postings might be useful, too. I know, the traffic herein would be almost zero without these, but I prefer having a newsgroup in my list, in which there is 1 article a day which I'm interested in over a newsgroup with 10 articles a day of which I kill 9. So: What about having rec.games.diplomacy for all those diplomacy-zine postings and have this group for discussion and announcing of new pbm-openings?
