(I have all but one player's votes; do not resend votes.) "No vote received" counts as a vote for the draw; but if everyone sends in their votes with their moves, we shouldn't have any problems with this. Remember: Votes on draws must be unanimous. ----- PRESS: None. ----- DEADLINES: Fall moves (and the one remaining set of votes) are due Saturday 17 March. First off, sorry that I haven't responded sooner, but I have been busy moving flat. Anyway, Italy (Al Nelson) is in contact via Eric Klien at the moment. He has been having email problems, which should be sorted out, but if not then I expect a replacement player soon. ============================================================================ Deadlines --------- We have two problems. One is that I am away from 15th - 20th inclusive, and the other is that Russia (Barry Pease) is away until the 19th, hence a long deadline, which should hopefully allow everyone to get sorted out. So, can I have the retreat orders by Tuesday 20th March, 10pm EST. Fall 1903 orders will be due Sunday 25th March, 12 o'clock midday. Winter '02 of the game HOHENZOLLERN (BNC number 1990J) (GM is jog@hpda.hp.com/Rajeev Jog) HOHENZOLLERN (BNC #1990J) Winter 1902:Corrected Version -------------------------------------------------------- Here's a corrected version of unit positions, and a newsflash. I hope there are no mistakes here. Sorry for the screw up. I took the previous positions, but did not edit them hard enough. (It even said Winter 1901 in some places!). Thanks to everyone who pointed out the errors. Spring 1903 orders due Thursday March 8 at NOON PST. Please remember to send conditional retreats for EACH of your units which could possibly be forced to retreat. It just makes it faster for me to send out the results. If the scenario is too confusing, then I'll let you get away without submitting the retreats. But they have to be in by FRIDAY at NOON PST. The Minister in his remarks commented, "It should be obvious to all that the upstanding Ottoman empire has no need for such idiocy. Indeed, it should be further obvious to all that the Italians truly are puppets of the Austrians. Why announce this fact to the world when it allows our defense analysts to accurately predict what the Italians are going to do. Furthermore I would note that our German friends should be wary as I personally think that the seige of Warsaw is but a feint into Russia and is a movement to capture German territory. Of course, I have told this to the German Ambassador privately, why should I publish it to the whole world? I humbly suggest to everyone here and others listing beyond Sofia, that the Italians put out the newspaper to give them a reason to attack the Austrians." ************************************************************************** If you are interested in joining the fun here in Electronic Protocol, send mail to Eric_S_Klien@cup.portal.com including your name, home address, home phone number, work phone number, and country preferences. ************************************************************************** * // Only /\ [5;7mLord Zar,Commander Of All He Surveys[0;0m *\\ // /--\MIGA (and hater of spaces near commas.) * * \X/ Internet: lord_zar@ucrmath.ucr.edu QuantumLink & Portal: Lord_Zar * * "The only good long .signature is a dead one!" --Me (The new, shorter .sig!)* Up
