Alternate Realities

*Maze Stuff*
Move Five:
 Team I:Continuing down the corridor.
 Team II:Examining the other door, Player A sets off another trap..
    ***CRASH***
 Team III:Turns in one direction, and continues down the corridor,
   after examining the grate.
 Team IV:Player B jabs at the heavy padlock with his pocketknife.
   Attempting to pick the lock this way fails miserably, but a
   swift kick in frustration knocks the lock off (lucky you!) and
   the team dashes off down the corridor past the grate.
   In the next room (40x 40') they are surprised by a rather large
   avian creature...
       ***COMBAT**
   Round 1:
     Player B runs for one of the doors in the room, and tries to
    pick it with his pocket knife.
       Player A launches himself into the air, swords swinging,
    fire-breath blasting--
        --the Wyvern has the higher position, beak, claws, and a tail
    attack--
        Beak:Toasted. The firebreath strikes home.
        Claw1:Parried, Katana.
        Claw2:Parried, Wakisashi.
        Tail:Deflected, but it strikes Player A in the left wing.
        Both combatants come crashing to the ground, the Wyvern
        quite dead, but Player A isn't feeling too good either...
  Team V:
     Move off down one of the corridors (taking a torch from the wall)
     and find in a short while a locked door, while player A sets his
     familiar on guard.

Move Six:
  Team I:Player B notes more of the gratings on the cieling of the passage,
  and up ahead, a ladder set in the wall, which they climb.
  They have some difficulty getting the hatchway in the cieling open...
  Team II:Discovers a secret passage and crawls down it...
  Team III:Comes a scond junction, which has an exit up as well as
   down.   Player A continues on.
  Team IV: Player B manages to jimmy the door open, and helps thw
   wounded player A through.
  Team V: watching the door burn.
  Team VI:Advances down a corridor, to find a fox blocking the way.
    "Hello, Windwalker!", player A says, "Where is your master?"
   Windwalker: "Growl." Also, there is a large quantity of smoke coming
    down the corridor..

BACK IN THE COMMON ROOM:
   Things have gotten pretty quiet, with a small magical teleprinter
Taldin has conjured printing out regular (if ambiguous) Maze reports.
There is the sudden sound of crunching wood from above....

Move from Janus (#1)
  "WHAT WAS THAT?!" The burly barkeep is staring up at the cieling.
"Sounds like someone smashed some furntiture up there.. someone go
investigate!"
