The only real difference in costs for the GM/moderator/whatever is email
 connect charges. PBM companies have computers too, pay their GMs salaries
 also, pay for paper, etc. etc. So the question would seem to be what costs
 more, postage and a PO Box (possibly) and whatever else versus email
 connect charges and whatever else that is unique to PBeM. From the player's
 point of view I would hazard a guess that the average cost is higher for
 PBM games(turn fees+postage+phone calls+etc) than PBeM games(turn fees+their
 contribution to email charges+whatever else).
In regards to time costs there are two main factors, turnaround times and
 deadlines. In a recent post I stated that EPIC has a turnaround time of
 2 weeks. I was referring -only- to Epic but the remark was in error anyway
 as what I meant to say was that Epic has a minimum deadlione of 2 weeks.
 Turn around time seems to be 24 hours. That is, if you send a turn in before
 it can be run (before the 2 week deadline) then the turn is held until the
 2 weeks is up, processed and sent out the same day, usually. In my post
 when I used Epic as an example of the slowness of PBM vs PBeM the point I
 was trying to make was that PBM at it's fastest is at something like 7 days.
 That is, you get your turn on day 1, quickly read it, write your turn, send
 it the same day, travels on 2, 3 , and gets to the company on 4 which has
 24 hour service. They send it on 5, travels 6, 7, and you get on 8. Now
 compare this to an email game.

Company time: Running a PBeMG on company time & computers w/o permission
 would appear to me as a no-no (no, really?).
              The kind of offense where Mr.Boss says:
 'Excuse me Mr.Jones? Go away. Never come back. Now. Guards pick up Mr. Jones
 here and toss him on his ass in the gravel bed outside.'
              It's stealing, right?
