There are many races that populate the world, each contributing to the expansive culture of their countries. War has wrecked havoc on the masses, Civil Wars break out over who should be Heir, ancient treasures are unconvered by bands of adventurers, and creatures lurk in the dark. The world is yet untame, peace is still a distant thought, and looking out for yourself is the only way to survive. In the Human Kingdom of Tentrad, the Court is in shambles after the Usurper took the throne from hs older Brother (now in exile) after their father the King died. Mystery still surrounds the circumstances of what happened - from both when the King died and when the Rightful Heir escaped the Palace - but now that the Usurper is King, people dare not talk about it. A brief Rebellion occured, between loyal supporters of the Heir against the Usurpers Armies. Needless to say, the Rebellion was quelled though rebels still lurk in the countryside. There are rumors of a new Underground Movement starting up in the hopes of returning the Heir to Kingship. With such internal Strife, the Lesser Kingdoms turn their eyes to Tentrad, realising that there is no better time then now to strike at such a juicy target. Always, darkness lurks in the shadows of the metting halls. The Elves look down on the affairs of the Human Kingdoms with arrogance, their sense of Supremecy over the world getting the better of them. True, they have the highest standing of living, are the envy of all other Nobles, and are also very attractive, but arrogance is not a virtue. The Dwarves pay no attention to anything that goes on around them. They too are caught up in their own internal problems. Something from the Dark has been discovered as their mines grow ever deeper, and no Dwarf who knows of it wishes to talk of it. The Dwarves have become more hostile to outsiders and seem to be withdrawing into their enclaves. But all is not hopeless. Bands of adventurers, treasure hunters and explores roam the countryside. As do Bandits, who seek easier means of making fortunes. The Great War still scars the ground, ruins of cities and fortresses are starting to become overgrown while their treasures and secrets remain undiscoverd. The Far-Seers harald a time of Darkness, but once again no one listens. The game is run on Yahoo!Groups, an invitation to the Group will be sent upon your application's approval.
