(Antwerp) After enjoying nearly three years of safety under the protection of the German navy residants fear the worst. It appears that Belgium may fall to a last ditch offensive of those despicable French. Leaders in France, embarassed about their loses against Germany, and their diplomatic failures in Rome feel they need a military victory no matter how futile. Sources say, "Our leaders feel that the government is near collapse, and without some victory to flount...". It appears that the people of Belgium will be the losers. (London) England's temporary Prime Minister had a short press announcement today. "While we deeply regret losing Norway to the Russians, we feel that it was due to errors in judgement of our previous Prime Minister. We hope that the Russians are happy that we have vacated Norway. There was also a serious error made with respect to the Germans in a battle over Denmark. Again, we deeply regret the inconvenience that was caused. We hope that we will be able to have good relations with both of these countries. We felt it was necessary for the sanctity of England to regain control of the North Sea, and we are uite happy that Russia retreated her fleet back to Scandanavia." (London) The prime minister today blamed the recent lose of an entire army in Scandinavia on the Russian's use of superior boot technology. The newly created government made claims that the Russian's possessed a new type of boot that was just really neat and kept soldiers feet comfortable and warm. The government obviously groping for straws to explain the lose and capture of the entire Norway occupation force is facing increasing pressure from pro-peace forces fears that another collapse may be eminant. (Munich) The city was calm today after recent celebrations were halted due to a shortage of beer. Apparently the French forces unable to carry the beer with them as the fled just poured it into rivers and streams to prevent its recapture. The leader of German liberation forces was quoted, "Those French will pay for this attrocity, for every drop of beer spilt the scum(French) shall pay in their own blood. (Paris) Bread riots throughout the city needed to be suppressed by government forces. Gunshots could be heard throughout the night, and it was rumored that the government had fled to Versaille. The riots were triggered when news that the foreign minister had rejected a German peace offer reached a group of women protesting the shortage of foods. (Paris) Hackey sack declared French national sport. Hacky sack production jumped 250% in response. Crowds of jubilient youngesters & adults took part in a nation wide cellibration of the Hacky sack. Hospitals reported an increase in the cases of sore joints, but no other injuries were reported. The national leader James Roman declared that, "We should learn to kick a hacky sack, as easily as we are going to kick those who attempt to cross our borders." (Venice) Panic resulting from the news of a French force north of the border were calmed today when it was revealed that Italy was consulting with the German General Staff about joint manuevers to expel the retreating French army. Venetians were relieved that the little boys would be safe from the French soldiers. (Vienna) Rumors that the emperor's health was failing were neither confirmed or denied. It is thought that the senile emperor was near death. All of Austria is saddened at the loss of their beloved ruler. But all admit that a change of leadership is needed to remedy the military errors of the previous administration. The recent violation of Poland has turned nearly all of our neighbors against us, AND by piting us against Russia has placed us on the side of the English, *hack, spit*. (Vienna) In the massive partying following our victorious march on Warsaw the late King Ledo (Bill Ledoux) had a heart attack. The chambermaid who found him in his bed said "it was horrible ... I came into the room to clean up and found him in bed and not breathing and purple and then I screamed and I fainted." Other reports have the chambermaid in his bed when he died however... The Heir was reported as saying "If he can't take it he souldn't have been King", however this statement was vehemently denied by him in a press statement this morning, in which King Elliott X also said that he will try to keep the the foreign relations the same as the old king, however he also said "We will have to do something about the French invasion of our country soon, if they don't leave on their own." He also said that "Although the Turks have forced us out of Greece that dosn't mean that we are at war with them, and cannot hope to work with them in some cases." (Warsaw) Rats as big as alley cats have been plagueing the enemy controled city of Warsaw. Residents are extremely unhappy and look to the Russian armies to help free them from the dirty swine now occupying the city. The deadline! Summer '04 retreats: as soon as possible.
