PRESS: ( London - Sun ) ITALIAN MONARCH SPOTTED IN LONDON - OFFICIAL Reports today indicate that the current Italian monarch, was last week spotted in a fashionable London boutique accompanied by a "beautiful brunette". The pair were seen clubbing and mixing with various "scene" aristocracy deep in the heart of the West End. It's even thought that the pair went into the seedy heart of London - Soho. Unconfirmed reports that a meeting with the Tyrant, Pervert, President of France are at present cirulating in the seedier parts of town... ( London - Times ) Conference in London ? It is believed that a summit of world leaders took place in England within the Easter Weekend. A London representative of the "Rex D'Italia" was unavailable for comment, although European sources indicate that a discussions on European unity were on on the agenda. The complete delegation of the meeting is unknown, however. ( Greece ) In a peaceful meeting today, local political leader Stavros Soucalas called for unification with Turkey. For the sake of Cyprus, he argued, Greek restaurant owners in all parts of the world should hold a day of peace, with no breaking of plates. In a letter to the Hapsburg Monarch, he urged for military action against the few remaining pockets of resistance in Turkey. Berne - Weather Balloon Europe... A new breakthrough in weather prediction has been announced in a hotel in the picturesque Swiss town of Berne. According to the director of predictive studies, the recent spate of unseasonal anticyclones can be attributed to the presence of the mysterious cigar-shaped object first spotted by Turkish scientists. "By backtracking atmosperic conditions, we have come across a startling correlation between anticyclones and the freak disappearances of naval vessels." When asked for predictions, the director's response was non-commital. "At this moment in time, we cannot confirm anything for the current half year. It looks as though it will be a quiet time, although there are indications that in the not-to-distant future we may witness some fireworks somewhere; however we cannot confirm things at the moment. Suffice to say that Venice is a seaport and the anticyclone is moving Westwards." As usual, if there are any errors please let me know ASAP. Because I have no idea to what letter Jaqueline is relating I feel free to give it to discussion. Tokla, The answer is no. I confronted Austria with it, and he convinced me you're BSing. If England answers yes, then I am obviously still in, but I doubt that'll be his answer (given what he already said to you about it). I just can't see being part of a pact based on deceipt (which is what you tried to do). Anyway, you knew all along that I'd go whichever way Ric went, and that he wasn't likely to go for it no matter what Austria planned on doing. If it makes you feel any better, you did force me to do something stupid with regards Austria; but I still don't see how that will help you. In any case, I'm sending him a copy of this letter to put the whole thing on the table. I realize you'll have very little time to figure your next moves after reading this; I just hope you didn't base your whole plan on us saying yes (purely out of courtesy to you). Anyway, your plan wasn't much more in Ric's interests than Austria's current stance (although he isn't really helping much either). So England and I go it alone, you (and Turkey, I suppose) go it alone, and Austria and Russia (as long as he lasts) go it alone. It's almost a pity; if any three of us got together, the show would be in the bag...but it won't be your way, and Ric is neutral about it all, as is Austria. Anyway, I'm rambling...how was your trip? JP winter'04 moves are due asap.
