Lost At Sea - SeaCrafters Wanted From: "Laura Walker" <shewhoguards@gmail.com> Date: Thu, 08 Sep 2005 20:55:30 +0000 Wanting a change from dragonriders and Candidates? Want a plot that puts the focus on Crafters for a change? Feeling the urge to just pack up and go to sea? Then maybe you should be looking at us. It's a profitable trip for a SeaCrafter between the Northern and the Southern Continents. Carry a full load of beer, ale, metals, and smoked meats to the South, and then drop your cargo off and head back North with sweetener, grain, uncut gems and wood. A tidy tithe is to be had at each port, so it's no wonder a dozen or more ships continuously work their way back and forth along that route. But a storm and a fog can blow a ship too far off-route to find their way home again, and as tensions rise discontent may start to grow among the crew. Whispers may be heard then, of mutiny, and maybe even of murder. And what then? Join them as they set sail from the Northern Continent to find out. We'll be running on the Arolos Crafters list, so people whimpering at the idea of the usual Arolos heavy mail-load can relax ;-) We have a hefty load of SeaCrafter adoptables available - including some key members of the crew who'll get a chance to play important parts as the plot unfolds! We're also looking for apprentices and journeymen specialising in: Carpentry (Emergency ship repairs while on the move) Sail-Making Navigation Cargo-guarding BoatSmith (Emergency repairs to the Thread-proof metal roof) All of those are limited positions - if we get one or two applications in for each we'll be fine, however obviously if we get in twenty cargo-guards, we'll have to turn a few down ;-) We can also accept unlimited amounts of non-specialised Journeymen or apprentices. No applications for Senior Journeymen or Masters other than those available as adoptables please. In celebration of Talk Like A Pirate Day we'll be launching on 19th September - so get your applications in now, and be ready! Arrr! http://www.arolosweyr.co.uk/arolos.php?p=seacraft.php Up
