PBM Review (update to previous article)

As an update to my previous article which contained a comprehensive outline
of the games offered by Game Systems, Inc., I post this brief note:

First, the price for State of War is only $4.75 per turn, not $5.00
as mentioned in my article.  Not much of a difference, but I thought that
would be worth mentioning.

Second, GSI has apparently gotten the message from its customers
about the Dawn of the Ancients game.  In view of its unpopularity (despite
the low cost per turn), GSI has taken this game off-line (current games will
finish, but no new games will be run) for an overhaul.  I expect a much more
exciting version of this game to be out within the year.

If you don't want to own a gun, you can take up karate, a form of
martial arts in which people who have had years and years of training can,
using only their hands and feet, make some of the worst movies in the history
of the world.  They can also break boards, which could be very useful if an
intruder enters your home and tries to hide behind your spare lumber so the
dog can't get at him.
