email 1830 -- SECOND CALL From: barry@brahms.udel.edu (Barry Fausnaugh) Date: Fri, 05 Oct 1990 17:08:02 +0000 I am interested in trying to run Avalon Hill's 1830 game by email. I already have three players who are want to play and I am still looking for 3 more players. If I do not receive 3 more players by Friday, Oct. 12 I will start the game with as many players as I have. I must stress that, while I intend for this game to be played to it conclusion, this is a test run for playing this game electronically and there may be times when things just don't work the way I expect them to, or there is a rules interpretation question. I will not be playing in the game myself, but will monitoring the game and acting as GM. I am unable to provide the rules to the game for you, but you can probably purchase the game at your local hobby store. I highly reccommend having a copy of the game so that you can keep track of everything (tiles will be referrenced by number so it will probably be necessary to have the tiles in front of you unless you have them memorized and can keep them straight in your head.) If you would like to play, please send me your name, postal address, and phone number. I will contact you with my email rules for 1830 as soon as I have six players or next Friday, whichever comes first. Barry Fausnaugh Up
