Description:

Title of Role Playing Game: Thunder and Lightning RPG

Age limit, if any: No member will be admitted to the group that is
not 18 or over and does not have their age displayed in their yahoo
profile.

Detailed Description: The game is kind of a modern western. There's
drama, comedy, action, mystery, pretty much a mix of everything. The
following is a synopsis of the home page for the group.

The Damiens and the Georges have never really gotten along all that
well. Melissa and David Damien ran their own ranch, west of and on
the opposite side of the main road from the George family ranch. Not
exactly prosperous, it did get them by, and they, along with their
three daughters, Devon, Marina, and Ellis, lived a comfortable, happy
life. Sure, David Damien and Rand George got along well enough in
public. They'd been the best of friends for most of their lives.
Business is business, however, and David never really forgave Rand
for cutting him out of deals that would have been advantageous to
David's ranch.

The Georges are a family that have always had the best of everything.
Nice ranch, up to date equipment, plenty of money. Ravena and Randall
(Rand) George worked hard for what they got, and they ensured that
their four sons, Christopher, Liam, Daniel, and Xavier, would have
the best of everything. They still do. They're a tight knit family,
but the boys are a little rebellious, always have been. Part of their
nature.

Everything changes, though, when Melissa and David Damien are killed
in a tragic automobile accident on their way back from a local rodeo
one evening. Devon, the only daughter still living on the family
property, is devastated. Not just by this nasty turn of events, but
for other reasons. Younger sisters, Marina and Ellis have their own
lives. Marina in New York, working in advertising, Ellis working as a
horse trainer for hire, currently with the George family operation,
have been left shares of the property equal to Devon's. Since Devon
is the only one who really cared about the land, it's a hard pill to
swallow that she has to share her home with her two sisters who left
the second they got the chance. What's going to happen, now? She
doesn't know, but she's not going to give up her home, to two sisters
who she doesn't think care, without a fight, and she has allies.

Other information: Currently, we're in need of all characters,
except Ellis, Marina, and Devon Damien. There are several pre-made
characters for people
to take on, if they want to go that route, and members may bring in
new characters, as well. All characters must be original characters,
however. No crossovers from TV shows. The game's first day will begin
with Marina Damien's arrival and the funeral for Melissa and David
Damien. At present, no one except the family lawyer knows of the
change to David Damien's will.

Available Pre-made characters include:
Harley Stevens (the head ranch hand on the Luck Nine, the Damien's
ranch)
The George Family
Liam George
Daniel George
Xavier George
Christopher George
Ravena and Randall George
These characters may be requested by e-mailing the list owner.

A list of rules and the backstory for the game will be sent to all
members when they join.

Posting is a minimum of once a week per character to keep the game
going.
