Description:

The rules for this game are taken from one that was a program with
automatic inputs and results, but seemingly never got off the ground. I
tried to contact the creator for permission to use his game but his email
has been closed. I have re-edited and re-wrote the rules to work with a
PBEM using a phpbb forum board.

Their are three armies on each side- no 1,000 man regiments, you as an
army General will command NPC Generals who will have Corps from 3,000 to a
maximum of 25,000 men.

The game is 19 turns long using a point to point(city to city) type of
map. After each turn each side receives a random amount of troops at each
Armies HQ and 2 NPC Generals to lead them. These reinforcements may be
left to garrison or made into a Corp, or drawn on for reinforcements at a
later date. Garrisoned forces fight at half strength.

Their are amphibious invasions by the Union, drilling to boost morale for
better fighting ability and the fortifying of cities. Certain moves are
subject to loss of troops due to attrition (sickness, desease, desertion).
I have 2 players in the South commanding the Army of North Virginia and
the Army of the Trans-Mississippi, the Army of the Northwest is open. 1
Union player in the Army of The Potomac, the armies of the Cumberland and
the West are available.
