By next session we should have a new manager. Bruce dashed off a quick lineup sheet just before he abandoned ship. Through a silly chain of decisions, he ended up spending $50K on a second CP/session he could have avoided. So, I shuffled the CP spending to be nice to the new guy [any objections?]. ---------- Press ---------- ..... TPR will have an interesting season--trading and selling so many players that the lads are a bit confused. Good luck to all (except for--naw, good luck to all!). ..... Safety in Numbers hopes to show the rest of the league that a new manager is just what the doctor ordered to bring them to the top this year. However, Mr. Brown's confidence in his ability to get the team going from the word go is not real high. Let us hope that the first session results will help bouy his morale. Detroit NewsPress - New Manager Jonathon David Leszczynski, recently took is latest acquisition, Amdahl Unlimited, to their new training grounds within Michigan. Word is, that the new Manager is looking to make some mean trades and the cash has been flowing to several other teams. We had a great party, but a bit too soon, and the season ended abruptly in losses to DKC and the Sages. We drowned our sorrows like the sots we are, and cried "Wait `til next year!" until the cops drove us home. The Punch Bowl is polished, the Henry's Private Reserve is laid in for this season's fans, and our liquor license is renewed. We expect to move a few new vintages of rose this season, too, as well as winning a match or two. We're even rambling like drunken fools. Time to shut up and play. Lion Stadium, New Mexico. A new season begins for the local team; the New Lions, with optimism and hope for the future. As you remembered last spring the UEFL's first year was not particularly favorable for the team, almost not qualifying to stay in the Central Division. "This year things will be different", announced coach Sada at the team's first press conference. "We have hired new talent and will play a more aggresive game this season." Mike (Milesius), the new GK, is an rising young star in the field, and several minor leaguers will swell the ranks of the team through the season. Only time will stell if coach Sada's predictions come true. Stay tuned for more developements throughout the season. The team's first game is at home, against the Sordid Sages. Press release from Stonehenge: Coach Serenity is nowhere to be found! Rumor has it that he is acting as an advisor to a league in another dimension. The Sages are doing their best, but until a new spiritual advisor is found there is not telling where their baser impulses may lead them.
