A few words about The Next Empire based on discussion on CompuServe:
  - It is a good game, but is very overpriced compared to other
comparable games (StarWeb, Stellar Supremacy, even Capitol)
  - Customer service has been very irregular, with some long
delays.

By the way, a good review in Paper Mayhem is not hard to come
by.  Most of the "reviews" there are 95% recitations of what is
in the game and about 1 paragraph of real analysis.  In some cases,
persons with a financial interest in the game or friends of the
moderators have written reviews for them, it has been alleged.  I
consider the reviews in Flagship much more reality based.  (In addition,
Flagship is proofread by people that seem to know how to spell,
use English correctly and have a sense of what editing is all about.
Paper Mayhem averages 1-3 errors per page.)
