Press:

LE JOURNAL AU JOUR DE PARIS- earlier today the first group of Christmas
carollers descended on the the office of the President. The President
who was overwhelmed by their good cheer and tidings of great joy was moved
to make entreatities to all nations of the world to put aside hostilities
for this most glad time of the year, between the times of Dec 17 and Jan 3.
For, as the President expressed to us, he was going on a journey of great
importance to Canada, in order to ferment a French Canadian uprising in
the province of Quebec.

GM COMMENTS:

1)	As always, items in {braces} in the above tables are those which
are dependent on retreats.  Updated versions will be sent with the Autumn
1905 results.

2)	Turkey, please send in your retreat ASAP.  The absolute deadline for
this is 6:00 p.m. (CST) Sat. Dec. 8.

3)	Deadline for Winter 1905 (adjustments) will be 11:59 p.m. Sun. Dec. 9.
Spring 1906 orders will be due 11:59 p.m. Thu. Dec. 14.  These two deadlines
are conditional on previous moves being in on time.  If there are ever any
problems with these or other dealines, please don't hesitate to let me know

The Czar Aressted? (ROME AP)

Czar Kenneth gave a rare speech today in Rome, were he is
currently in exhile. The theme of his speech centered on the
the need for more European nations to understand Italian and
the chances of the Czars return to St. Petersburg. The Czar
stated that, "Understanding the Italian language will be necessary to
any one who lives in Europe, especially for the Turkish dogs.
All I can suggest to Turkey is to get used to pasta and forget
about Islam, that was such a silly religion any how."
The Czar went on to state that, "I will never return to Russia,
nor will my son, or his son, or his son, or his son, we will never
return I am afraid. Besides after the Turks control something, it is never
the same."  It was shortly after the speech that the Czar was arrested.

GERMANY NEXT TARGET TO WIPE OUT START OF PROTESTANTISM

(Rome) After secret council with top aides and advisors, Pope Franjesco I
declared Germany to be a land of "outlaws, heathens, and Satan worshippers".
Expeditionary forces into the outskirts of Germany have reported many heinous
crimes committed against the church, such as Beer-drinking, using of veal for
schnitzel, and black forest cake. In the words of the Pope, "Germany is where
it all started. Now if we can stamp Germany out, we will fulfill our goal of

(Vienna) Pope Franjesco I was present as the Holy Popian Army took over the
capital of the renegade Austria-Hungary. He rode in his Golden Chariot driven
by Benn Hurr MMMCDCLXXVII, descendent of the original Benn Hurr. The capture of
Vienna gives the Popian army a launch point for the attack into Germany.

London: The newly constructed high class, low rent apartment buildings that
stand where Buckingham Palace used to rest, are now open. The 72-storey
building has 63 floors of flats, 10 flats to a floor. On the 12th floor is a
full gymnasium with sauna, Olympic sized pool, weights and aerobics studio (for
future use). There are restaurants and shops, as well as physicians on hand.
Rent for one of these luxurious flats is 20 pounds sterling per month. They are
going quickly.

Budapest: Help! Help me!! Please help!!

Moscow: The new assistant to the Czar held his first press conference. "We
shall fight on the beaches! We shall fight in the streets! We shall NEVER
SURRENDER!! Huh? Wrong war? Wrong COUNTRY? Oh man, well, we'll pound the Turks

London: The English drive into Lesser Britain was stalled in the Spring by
Gauls and disposed Flemish soldiers. However, promised King Anand, the German
offensive into Burgundy will give us the leverage to re-unite that which was
once ours.

Camelot: No news yet on the impending birth of a new Royal Child. The days are
getting fewer.

Somewhere at Sea: Admiral Sarah Sinha finally broke her silence on being
denied a visitor visa into Italy. "I only wanted to go visit Italy with my
boyfriends. Why do I have 2000 boyfriends? Because, I want to. Just because my
father says I can't date until I am 40, has nothing to do with that..."

Tsar Hall of Russia is heading to the East Coast of the United
States for a pair of lectures on improving the productivity of
pitiful peasant design engineers by replacing most of them with
machines. The Tsar will be out of the country for a period of
four days, November 6 through 9. The first lecture will be in
Boston, a live T.V. - er radio - broadcast via satellite - er
cable. The second will be in Washington D.C., at a conference
on creating intelligent machines, "Tools for Artificial
Intelligence". The Tsar has expressed that he will not deal with
any matters concerning the Great War during this period of time,
despite the protests of his advisors.

Russia->Italy: Why are my strings limp? Speak to me!

Camelot: King Anand welcomed the new Italian leader to his castle. After an
extended tour of Camelot, and the Liverpool shipyards, King Anand and Rex Rich
discussed the problems of Europe. Most noteworthy were the comments about 'the
decadent French', and the head-case of a former Pope. Both men seemed able to
work out details for Admiral Sarah's visit to the Holy City. However, Rex Rich
did ask that the Admiral leave her navy on the West side of Gilbraltor.

Flanders: The poppy fields were bright red, in mourning for the soldiers killed
and to be killed in the next century. Let us not forget what those soldiers
bought for us with their lives.

Less Britain: The citizens of the capital of Less Britain, Brest, prepared to
meet their rightful King, Anand I of England, by helping to drive out the last
of the French occupying forces. Even though the liberation of Less Britain had
taken 1400 years (since the fall of Arthur), the populace seemed happy to
return to the proper rule of the English. The King's enchanter, Merlin, was
seen in various parts of Less Britain, preparing for the arrival of "The
Rightwise born King of ALL Britain".

London: King Anand I, set sail for the coast of Picardy today, to lead the
victorious English forces into the last remaining, unclaimed portion of Less
Britain, the port city of Brest. Said King Anand as he stepped aboard the his
royal yacht, "After we re-unite our families in Less Britain, we shall help the
people of our protectorate of Gilbraltor re-claim their Iberian heritage! I
promise the people of Gilbraltor the we shall help them against the foreign
invaders!"

New York: The former Queen of England, Victoria Windsor, came in second today
at the US Open in Flushing Meadows. As in the Australian, and French Opens, she
lost the final game to Prissy Evert, 1-6, 7-6, 7-6. Victoria's ability to play
on grass won her the title in the All-England Wimbleton Tennis tournament. For
a woman of 83, she became the oldest woman to compete in the finals of all four
of tennis' grand slam events. As Ms. Evert said "Hey, she may be older, but all
those years of sitting on the throne have not made her into an armchair tennis
player. She still has young legs. And she's crafty, sneaky quick. Wow, with
some experience, she'll be _really_ good!"

Moscow: Confusion reigns supreme as the new leaders of the Russian empire see
it crumbling before them. The German onslaught and the Italian betrayal have
caused more problems than the Tsar would care to admit to. However, he did send
an envoy to England, but as King Anand was away in Picardy, Queen Elaine sent
the envoy back, minus a finger or two. It seems he made some comment on her
weight, forgetting that she was carrying a royal heir...

Shiek Abdul The Expendible, reeling from his success with the Italians,
has now been moved into a position more fitting to his title and stature,
Ambassador to Russia.  Shiek Abdul seemed more than happy to leave his
plush bed of Italian goose down and all the grapes he could eat.  His exact
words at the time of the news were "Err...  What?"  He seemed even more
anxious to attack the challenge when he was informed of the "love pat"
that Joe-Bob had ordered for Bulgaria and the obviously friendly activities
of the Rubber Ducky...

"Joe-Bob Introduces Presbyterianism to Bulgarians"

Father Joe-Bob of the Presbyterian Jihad led the triumphant troops into
Bulgaria today as the first Surfing brigade mounted a coastal assault on the
nation so recently controlled by the crumbling Russian Empire.
General "Biff" Abdulnazaraet engineered the attack and offered the
following description of the tactics, "Well, dude, you know, we like,
surfed in like on every second wave."

Joe Bob, once again planting his feet on the familiar soil of Bulgaria
pronounced it once again the property of Turkey and had this to say,
"Cross *this* line, you die."

(Paris) A certain foreign power, concerned that the recent shakeup
in European capitals might cause a shortage of black press, quickly
went into action and set up the "Stealth Press Network."  The goal
of this organization would be to increase overall disk usage,
cause some unnecessary concern, and otherwise blow smoke into the
eyes of the fascist pigs who won't recognize the divine right of the
Turkish Empire to control everything west of Portugal.

(New York) Northrop Corporation announced that it would sue the
"Stealth Press Network" for using the word "Stealth" even though
they really couldn't think of a reason why they should.

"God Grants Joe-Bob A Vision"

Father Joe-Bob of the Shiite-Presbyterian Jihad declared today that God had
granted him a vision of General "Biff" Abdulnazearate claiming great glory
in the Rumanian Surf, Sun & Ski-off.  Shah Hassan reluctantly agreed to allow
the General to participate, after some concern that the General's somewhat
partican following would bias the judges, and thus cast concern as to the
sportsmanship of Turkish athletes.  His fears were assauged by the
Minister of Justice who pointed out, "Everybody knows we cheat..."

"Shiek Abdul Checks Out New Digs"

Shiek Abdul the Expendible formally moved into the brand new Turkish
Embassy in Moscow today.  The Shiek, who had been instrumental in the
design of the new building, was asked why the building resembled a bunker
in parts.  He responded, "Oh dear...  Which part of it do you think looks
the least like a bunker?  Perhaps we can slap something together..."

Camelot: King Anand hurried back from his victory feast in Brest to be with the
Queen as the final few days of the Royal Pregnancy are near. All power of the
English, nay BRITISH, forces have been turned over to Princess, Admiral Sarah
Sinha. She is said to be continuing her campaign, which led to the
re-unification of Lesser and Greater Britain. Her next goal? Her forefather
King Arthur, was killed by the Frankish forces around what is now modernday
Paris.

(Moscow) Tsar Hall returned from his lecture tour in the `Amerikas` to find
that he had been further betrayed by the Italian people. "Amazing! They come
around, brand new, and change the balance of power. Something that i'd never
do". He vowed to see each of the other leaders in heck, and that he'd reserve a
spot for them.  (Heck = Russian for Switzerland).

Monaco: The Monte Carlo Grand Prix will be held this weekend here. Highlighting
this year's list of participants is Edward Windsor, once heir-apparent to the
British throne. Ever since the deposing of his mother, Victoria Windsor as
Queen of England, little Eddie (58 years old), has tooled around trying to
learn how to drive cars. He has not been as successful with his new trade, as
his mother has been in tennis. Eddie will start in the 10th row. Jackie
Qwerert, the world driving leader, will start in the pole position again this
year. He is expected to win, easily.

Boston: The Boston Red Sox, winners of the 1st World Series ever (and probably
precious few in future), have asked the Commissioner of Baseball to allow
contracts of greater than $10000/yr be awarded to star players. The
Commissioner believes that the increase in salary will lead to ludicrous
contracts in the future. "Imagine, if we let this go through, by the year 2000,
some one may actually be making $1million per year! We cannot, in good
conscience, let salaries get out of hand like this."

(Roma) Merlin the Magician was seen wandering the streets of Rome. As though
he was looking for something. Something Holy. A Grail perhaps?

(aren't they all) appears on the top of the castle:
