        The Malik Daily: Top Conference of Arabic leaders!

Our great leader, Khalid El Kallan, has called for the first
time in history a meeting of top Arabic Leaders. The meeting
was called in light of the war in Europe and would initially
serve to exchange information that would be helpful in
implementing foreign policy regarding trade routes in hostile
territory, Europe.
The information was summarized during a press conference late
in the evening. Because of Russian agression against her
neighbors, the sea routes around the Balkans would become to
dangerous for trade ships. Prins Houssein Nagall, suggested
contacting "our Islamitic brothers" in Turkey regarding the
use of land routes. That way spices and oil could still reach
south-eastern Europe. No solution was found for the problems
in north-western Europe. The situation was evaluated as being
explosive and commercial vessels had already refused to sail
for Portugal and Spain as rumors of a full scale war spread.
According to Tarig Sarnagh, chairman of the Chamber of Commerce,
most Captains refused to sail for Holland and Belgium as well
because of fear of piracy by English war vessels in the general
area.
The highlight of the press conference was a show performed by
Khan Khalid Kallan's harem, a selection of 24 most beuatiful
women... thus the nickname "Horny Khan".

Switzerland, Zurich financial times:
        Police had to intervene last night as a party of Italian and French
        diplomats turned ugly. The damage to the Savoy Hotel was enormous and
        female personel complained about 'rude behavior'.
        As one woman explained "first the Frenchmen wanted to, let me see...
        yes, they wanted to bake French bread in our ovens and the Italians
        insisted we played a game called 'hide the Salami'".

PRAVDA, St.Petersburg - RUSSIA BETRAYED BY TURKEY. COUNT ALEXEI COMMITS SUICIDE.
The arrest of naval Captain Constantin Shiatsky came too late for the Imperial
fleet in Rumania. The suprise attack from both Bulgaria and the Black Sea proved
too much for the navy veterans. This even more so since the latest warship
"LOYALTY" was sabotaged. According Andrei Technitshikin, only "enlightened"
persons could have done such damage to the warship. Colonel Vladimir Polishnikov
admitted that his organization may not have been able to retrieve all copies of
the blueprints from the Grey Wolves.
The Ministry of Defense announced a dramatic recruiting effort for the Imperial
Armies in Moscow and Warsaw in light of the pending Turkish campaign. The Czar
has frozen most activities by the Imperial Navy "until all the Gray Wolves have
been... neutralized".

Count Alexei's Turkistanovitch lifeless body was found early last night in his
bathroom. Apparently the Count was completely disillusioned by the Turkish
betrayal and could not life with his "contribution" to the current state of
affairs. Her Imperial Majesty Elizabeth was deeply shocked by the news as the
Count was a childhood friend. Earl Boris Turkistanovitch, Lt. Colonel in His
Majesty's Imperial Army, has sworn to avenge the demise of his beloved uncle.

INSPECTION OF VIENNESE TROOPS BY CZAR

Czar Stefano paid a surprise visit to Vienna today in order to inspect the
troops. The Czar's Aid Catharina Romanov revealed that the Czar was "quite
pleased with the state of affairs, especially by that fact that his men had
refrained from plundering one of his favorite cities in Europe (the Czar is
an opera fan)." Inside sources state that the Czar intends to have his IInd
Army, under the command of Field Marshall Gregor Stiletto a.k.a. The Butcher,
move out of Vienna in order to restore the peace. Apparently a slight commu-
nication problem with the Austrian-Hungarian's resulted in "an attack without
resistance".

Paris - world:
The French nation has long harboured suspicions about the nation of Germany,
and it seems that these have been vindicated. Not only have the vile Huns
invaded our beautiful country but they have collaborated with the treacherous
English as well. The Third Republic appeals to all men of good heart and noble
mind to come to our aid.

 The people of Bavaria are beginning to feel a little restless according to
Munich's town council. Threats of war with Austria are combining with the
imminent threat of mass destruction at the hands of the French to build an
atmosphere of fear and terror.
 A few particularly insane officials, ("I laugh in the face of danger, I tweak
the nose of terror"), have maintained that there is no danger but the rest of
the urban populace seem less sure. There has been a steady exodus from Munich
of late, with most people choosing Berlin as the preferred refuge. However,

against Germany.  Death to the Prussian! The Tsar has not yet
agreed to aid us in our victory.

Moscow, 27 April 1901
Peace and security forever, by the cunning of our great Tsar.
An alliance has been cemented with the great Queen-Emperor of
Britain, who is expected to give us the lovely isle of Ireland
in gratitude.  Our first target together will undoubtedly be
the henious Germans who lie between us.

Paris, April 1901
Liberty, citizens! Our great nation has this day made an alliance with
the noble Turks and Italians.  Together, we will obliterate all those
who speak German (always excepting the peace-loving and well-defended
Swiss).  All right-thinking, democratic nations are invited to join
in our alliance against the German foulness.

Berlin, 3 May 1901
The Kaiser has appointed General Klaus von Bluchker as the new head of
Germany's military forces. General von Bluchker is also the head of foreign
relations. As the Kaiser put it, "The army and foreign relations go hand in
hand. How can you negotiate if you can't back it up with an army? So lets cut
down on the bureaucracy and make one person in charge of both".
General von Bluchker had no comments to make. He just hopes that all nations
will realise that German territory is inviolate, and any entry into any
territory, considered German, will be retaliated with all possible forces.

London, April 1901
The glorious Britisher Empire has announced eternal friendship
with the great Tsar.  The Queen-Empress plans to give him Ireland
as a token of her appreciation.

Constantinople, May 1901
Glory to the might of the Turkish people! From this day forward, our
supremacy is assured.  The Italian and French nations have agreed to
ally with us in our campaign against the foul Germanic race.  Germany
and Austria-Hungary are expected to be helpless before our
combined might.  Afterwards, we will take the spoils of victory and
make war upon the barbaric Russians.

Moscow, April 1901
The Tsar of Russia vowed to recover the lost territories of Norway and
Scotland. When reminded that Scotland was never a Russian territory, his
response was "It WILL be a Russian territory! Right after Berlin is!"

The glorious Fatherland has been assured today of eternal peace!
The Kaiser, meeting with representatives of France, Italy, and Turkey,
has obtained a treaty of peace with those nations.  It is expected
that we will ally against the degenerate Austrians.  With such
power, our alliance will be invincible; no one will attack us.
Messengers have been dispatched to the Tsar, to ask for his help
in our great cause of peace.

New York, May 1901
Sources in London, quote the Prime Minister as saying that France is
the biggest threat to England's security. Measures will be taken to prevent a
repeat of 1066.

15 March, Munich
Representatives of the Italian empire met here with General von Bluchker
to sign a non-aggression pact between the two nations. Said the
Italians "We need friends. Germany is a great friend."

Paris, April 1901
The Noveau Emperor du France, Emperor de St. Germain, declared that
English threat to re-start the 100 years war was preposterous. "Besides, that
war ended 400 years ago. So it is now the 500 year's War. Well if England wants
to fight, fight we shall. Let us all remember William the Conqueror, and the
year 1066!"

1.6.1901, St.Petersburg
The Mighty Czar of all the Russian Peoples, declared Turkey to be a nation
of "Infidels, towel-heads, and DOG BEATERS!!". He vowed to not rest
until they were purged from the face of the earth.

			    WAR RAGES IN EUROPE!!!

Ankara - Today the sultan announced that war has broken out amongst his
European neighbors.  The sultan went on to add that Turkey has no enemies
and intends to remain at peace with warring countries.  The sultan did,
however, announce that he will defend Turkey to the death from foreign attack
and that any attempt to enter Turkish soil will result in certain death for
the offenders.

BLACKIE RETURNS

Ankara - The first Turkish Fleet, stationed in Ankara reported today another
sighting of "Blackie", the Black Sea Monster which terrorized Turkish and
Russian fleets only months ago.  As a result, both the Russian authorities
and Sultan Hakim have decided to keep ships from entering Black Sea waters.
"It's far too dangerous," the sultan said, "cause this guy has REAL big teeth
and an ENORMOUS appetite for the rum [stored in the holds of Turkish
warships]"

Sports:

Mohammed Al-Jamman won the greater Sahara camel trot yesterday, turning in
an impressive time of 3 months, 14 days, 5 hours, 23 minutes and 14.8
seconds.  Although the time was 2.2 seconds slower than last years race,
authorities have decided to award Al-Jamman the world record, as last years
winner was found to have given his camel steroids.

Spokesmen for the Foreign Minister's Office denied all rumours of a full
English offensive against France. Instead, the offensive will be against the
offensive Russians. We have sent envoys to Germany to ask them to "bounce
Sweden", but there have been no responses. There have also been envoys sent to
Turkey and Austria, which have gotten a favourable response.

October 15, 1901
Budapest
     Giovanni de Medici, Ruler of Italy, left Budapest today, after talks to
settle the division of lands in Greece, Serbia, and Bulgaria; broke down. The
Austrian peoples are expressing much unease at this breakdown in communications
between the Rulers of Austria, Italy and Turkey. Many await with heavy hearts,

Berlin: Oktober 3, 1901:
General Klaus von Bluchker ordered all of the German troops out of the country
today. The 1st and 2nd armies moved to consolidate the local neutral countries,
and the 1st fleet moved into the Skagerrak inlet to prevent hostile English
fleets from moving there. Von Bluchker denounced the English plan to attack
Sweden in the Fall as "barbaric, and cutting our own throats. If the English
wish to attack Russia, then let England make the first aggressive move". The
General felt that this tactic was being suggested by the English to allow
England to make a deal with either Russia or Germany, whichever offered more.

October 29, 1901
The Winter Palace, St.Petersburg:
The Czar maintained that there would not be a Russian offensive into Germany,
no way! No how! Unless Germany prevents us from taking Sweden, then we shall
call on our good buddies the English and French to help us...

10 August, Barcelona
     In international news: The people of spain are rejoicing today
at the liberation they have received from the oppression of the Spanish
monarch.  They are parading in the streets with banners and pictures
of the Emp of France.  When asked to comment, the Emp of France said,"
I firmly believe in the right of the people to choose there own way, and
condemn any attempt by a unjust ruler to oppress his peoples."

General Klaus von Bluchker kicked off the Oktoberfest activities in Munchen
today, with a rousing speech about the superiority of German beer to that of

Denmarrk and Holland arre ourrs. Odders vill follow!!" Other notable guests at
Oktoberfest were Emperor de St. Germain of France and Franz Joseph of Austria.
The Italian contingent sent their regrets.

15 September 1901, Paris
    The Emp de St. Germain sends a old (yet graceful) wooden ship to
the lord of England.  The boat is filled with flowers and gifts from
his nobel majesty of france to the throne of England.  He also denies
any rumors that the ancient anger has surfaced and plans to personally
visit the English Isles after the strife is over to thank the throne of
England for its help in the matters concerning those to the east.
