Truly I don't mind if we do this, but I think there should at least be some sort of vote along these lines. I have three yes votes for this proposal from the following people, (as is evidenced by their messages to us all). in%"mad-2@kub.nl" ! Germany, Constantijn Wekx in%"hardlj@druwa.att.com" ! Italy, Larry Hardouin in%"sinhaa@sscvax.mcmaster.ca" ! Anand Sinha, Turkey Would everybody else please get back to me on this please? Incidentally, I have orders for the next turn of this from everybody now, so if it is decided that we don't want to start again, then do not worry that you will have to wait long for a set of results. Nevertheless, I am not going to put the effort into producing them until I know that they will be needed. So, please do get back to me quickly about the proposal to restart. I honestly don't know if this vote needs to be unanimous or not, but this is something you can vote on as well, (unanimously? :-) Michael Fall '04 of the game CULLODEN (MNC number not known) (Gunboat game, GM is mad-2@kub.nl/Constantijn Wekx) Date: Thu, 2 May 1991 12:09 MET Okay, we are complete. The Russian player told me that he will be dropping out of the game soon. He's moving to Europe for six months and his net access will be questionable. I have asked him to stay with us till I have found a replacement player (He's leaving on 3 June). The other players indicated that they are ready to continue. Next deadline (Fall 1904) will be next Tuesday May 7th at 7:00 h am MET (that's 1:00 h EST). Please let me know if there are any problems. Constantijn Wekx __ CULLODEN __ Update (Summer 1904). Date: Thu, 2 May 91 14:43:46 PDT Press ----- Hi, folks. Kaiser Ingram of Germany here. The bottom line is this: a four way draw is about the only way we can realistically end this thing. Turkey and Russia are solid allies. Russia and Germany are solid allies. Germany and France are solid allies. Now if only Turkey and France don't mind avoiding the long and drawn out fleet battle in the Mediterranean, we can put this game to rest. If for some reason, Turkey and France can't settle their differences, a stalemate is inevitable, even if Russia and Germany start fighting again. So why don't we end this now with a vote? Spring '06 of the game GOODBYE BLUE SKY (MNC number not known) (Gunboat game, GM is hrsmarty%hrs.span@star.stanford.edu/Martin Snow) Note from the GM: Sorry about the absence. My mailer randomly went deaf (I could apparently send mail, but not receive any). Since I didn't even realize this had happened for a few days, I had no way to warn anyone.
