Diplomacy on BITnet - last game call From: steveb@cernvax.cern.ch (Steve Bougerolle) Date: Tue, 20 Aug 1991 16:57:21 +0000 I'm currently organising the last in my series of BITnet Diplomacy games. If enough names are received for this game this week it will go ahead. Otherwise it will not. I need one or two players and at least three standbys still. Spectators are welcome, too. These games are not open to everybody. Players should: 1) Have good network connections. Turn time is one week and may be shortened as graduation time for me draws nearer. 2) Be experienced. 3) Be aware of what dirty tricks are & are not acceptable in a game. I encourage underhandedness but have recently had problems with players pulling stunts that trash games... 4) Take active part in the games (if you're too busy to negotiate, don't sign up). If you qualify & are interested, send your name, AND a list of the 7 countries in the order you'd prefer to play them, to STEVEB@SLACSLD.BITNET. -- _|\ |V| /|_ Steve Bougerolle, U. of British Columbia Physics Dept. \ \| |/ / and the OPAL experiment, CERN, Geneva CH >_______< STEVEB@CERNVAX.UUCP STEVEB@CERNVM.CERN.CH !
