Newbie looking for a game From: Marcel Beaudoin <marcel.beaudoin@gmail.com> Date: Wed, 14 Dec 2005 15:36:50 +0000 I have read through the FAQ and visited the website with the list of games but am somewhat overwhelmed, and am coming to you fine folks for advice. I am a mature player (31) with many years of experience in CRPGs, and less experience in PnP RPGs (D&D mainly, although limited experience with others like RoleMaster, GURPS and Top Secret) that is several (read >10) years old. I miss the interaction with others on a (somewhat) regular basis and would like to get into a PbEM game. My preferences would be Fantasy-based, followed by science fiction and then modern. I would like turn frequency to be several times a week with no expectation of weekend postings. (My in- laws recently bought a chalet and I have been volunteered as manual labour).
