PBM game suggestions wanted From: rawdon@cabrales.cs.wisc.edu (Michael Rawdon) Date: Fri, 04 Oct 1991 21:08:54 +0000 I played a few PBM games several years ago - the one I remember most fondly was Starlord. I'm interested in playing another one, but don't know anything about the state of the industry, really. Can anyone suggest some particularly good PBM games and provide an information (and maybe an address) about the game? I'm especially interested in science fictional-games. (I'd be interested in hearing about the current state of Starlord, too.) I borrowed the rules for The Next Empire from a friend, and while it looks like an excellent game, $7.50 per turn is more than I'd care to spend. I'm looking for something more in the $3-5 range. (What does the average game cost these days, anyway?) Thanx for any info you can provide. -- Michael Rawdon rawdon@cs.wisc.edu 7/28/87: A careless speech writer includes the word "paradigm" in President Reagan's speech on sueprconductivity.
