The latest and greatest in computer generated World Class Wrestling. 1) I AM THE GREATEST! So you want to be a a World Champion huh? Well first you're going to need to make a few very important decisions. Like what style of wrestler would you like to be? Are you going to have a manager? What moves do you know? And of course, what makes you different from all of those other low-lifes out there that think THEY should be the Champ. First get out a piece of paper and put the following on it: Player Sheet. Name:____________________________ Style:____________ Manager(?):__________________________________________ Moves:_______________________________________________ Notes:_______________________________________________ _____________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________ Ok, now let's do the simple question first. The name. That's totally up to you. What I'm talking about is style. Do you want your wrestler to be; a technical wrestler; ala Bret Hart, a powerhouse; ala Lex Luger; a brawler, ala Hacksaw Jim Duggan; a high-flyer, ala Jimmy Snuka; a martial artist; ala Ricky Steamboat; or a disgusting cheater, ala Abdullah the Butcher? Once you have decided put that where it says style on your player sheet. Now you can choose which moves your wrestler knows based on his style. (hint: wrestlers get more points for moves that are in their style group.) Pick 8 moves from the 72 below and record them where it says moves on your player sheet (the number of the move, not the name). >TECHNICAL MOVES< 1. Abdominal Stretch 2. Backbreaker 3. Belly to Belly Suplex 4. Bodyslam 5. Clothesline 6. DDT 7. Dropkick 8. Figure Four Leglock 9. Neckbreaker 10. Sleeper 11. Small Package 12. Suplex >POWERHOUSE MOVES< 13. Atomic Leg Drop 14. Bodyslam 15. Clothesline 16. Full Nelson 17. Overhead Press 18. Piledriver 19. Powerbomb 20. Powerslam 21. Superplex 22. Suplex 23. Tilt-a-whirl Slam 24. Torture Rack >BRAWLING MOVES< 25. Bodyslam 26. Bulldog 27. Clothesline 28. Headbutt 29. Heartpunch 30. Hit w/ International Obeject* 31. Kick Combos 32. Punch Combos 33. Ram into Ringpost 34. Ram into Ringside Barrier 35. Ram into Turnbuckle 36. Slam into Announcer's Table >High Flyer Moves< 37. Clothesline 38. Dropkick 39. Flying Clothesline 40. Flying Shoulder Block 41. Frankensteiner 42. Leapfrog 43. Moonsault Splash 44. Small Package 45. Sunset Flip 46. Top-Rope Elbow Drop 47. Top-Rope Knee Drop 48. Top-Rope Splash >Martial Artist Moves< 49. Arm Lock 50. Back Brain Kick 51. Chop to Chest 52. Chop to Throat 53. Drop Kick 54. Leap Frog 55. Nerve Pinch 56. Nerve Strike 57. Roundhouse Kick 58. Sunset Flip 59. Suplex 60. Top-Rope Drop Kick >Disgusting Cheater< 61. Bite 62. Bodyslam 63. Bulldog 64. Choke hold 65. Headbutt 66. Hit w/ International Object* 67. Kick to Groin 68. Knock Out Referee* 69. Rake the Back 70. Rake the Face 71. Sleeper 72. Throw Fireball/Powder* * Warning these moves each give a 1 in 6 chance of your wrestler being DQ'd (Note: You may not choose the same move from two seperate categories.) If you want to put together a tag-team add the following at bottom of your player sheet (you'll need two of them). Name:__________________________________________ 1st Wrestler:__________________________________ 2nd Wrestler:__________________________________ Moves:_________________________________________ Manager:_______________________________________ Notes:_________________________________________ _______________________________________________ Once again the name of the team is up to you. First, make the two members of the team just as you would normal singles wrestlers. Then put the names of the two wrestlers in the team in the appropriate places and select 2 moves from below. (One from each Double Team and Finishing Moves) >Double Team Moves< 101. Abdominal Stretch/ Kick to Stomach 102. Armbar/ Elbow Drop 103. Whip Into Corner/ Knee to Back 104. Distract Referee/ Hit with International Object 105. Double Axehandles to Back 106. Double Clothesline 107. Double Dropkick 108. Double Suplex 109. Full Nelson/ Kick to Stomach 110. Throw out of Ring/Ram into Ring Barrier >Put Away Moves< 111. Bear Hug/Flying Clothesline 112. Decapitation Smash 113. Earthquake/Splash 114. Figure Four/Elbow Drop 115. Monkey Flip/Splash 116. Spiked Piledriver 117. Spiked Splash 118. Superplex/Splash 119. Top Rope DDT 120. Veg-o-matic Ok, now that you've got a repertoire of moves, there's just a few more decisions to make. Do you want a manager? This is pretty much just a matter of taste and style. Managers could be anyone from the alway interfering Bobby Heenan type, to the look at me in my bikini, Miss Elizabeth, to the almost totally useless but I'm here anyway, Andre the Giant. It's up to you. Once you've made that decision, there's just one more thing to do. This one's totally up to you, and goes where it says notes. What interesting things does your wrestler do that seperates them from the prelim bums of the UEWF? Come up with a gimmick for your wrestler and put it here. Now you're all set to.... 2) ENTER THE RING. So you've got this awesome wrestler and you wanna get 'em into the ring huh? While here are some questions you might have on how the UEWF system works. If you have anymore, just lemme know and I'll do my best to answer them for you. How is the winner determined? The winner of a match is the wrestler who's point total is highest. Point Totals are determined as follows: Each move is assigned a base value from 3-14 at the start of every month. A random value from 1-6 is then added to each move at the start of every new week of wrestling, making each move worth between 4 and 20 points. The Tag team moves(101-110) are also worth from 4-20pts, while the Tag moves from 111-120 are worth 14-30pts. The Points for the Women's divisions will NOT necessarily be the same as for the men's. The value of the wrestler's 8 moves are added together with the bonus for moves in his style to arrive at the Point Total for each Wrestler. What about outside interference and cheating? You know how they say "cheaters never win?" well these people obviously never watch Professional Wrestling. If someone cheats, the following table is used to determine the results: 1: The attack suceeds. The cheating party gets 15 additional points. 2: The attack suceeds. The person being attacked, stops the attack and tries to retaliate. Ref catches them and they are Disqualified. 3: No effect on match. 4: The attack fails. The cheating party loses 10 points. 5: The attack fails. Cheating party is Disqualified. 6: The attack fails. Cheating party is Disqualified and suspended for 1 week. How are rankings determined? Where you are ranked has as much to do with who you win against as it does with how often you win. The following system is used to determine rankings. Every win earns you a number of REP points equal to N-R+1. (N = the total number of wrestlers and R = the opponents rank) Every loss you receive costs you a number of REP points equal to the rank of the wrestler you lose against. Who's the real World Champion? Why the UEWF World Champion of course. There are four singles belts available for the men's competition; The World Heavyweight Champion, The Intercontinental Champion, The Atlantic Champion, and the Pacific Champion; two men's tag team titles, The World Tag Team Champions and The Intercontinental Tag Champions; as well as The Ladies World Champion and The Ladies Tag Team Champions. Who gets a shot at the belts? Every week the World Heavyweight Champion will defend his belt against the top ranked contender who has not had a title shot that month. The Intercontinental Champion defends his title against the seond ranked contender. The Atlantic and Pacific Champions defend against any one person who challenges them of their choice. (but this person must be atleast in the top 10% of the rankings.) The Ladies World Champion defends against the highest ranked Ladies wrestler who has not had a title shot all month. The Ladies Tag Team Champions defend against the highest ranked Ladies tag team who hasn't had a title shot all month. If a champion is beaten they get a rematch the next week. How many wrestlers can I make? Well right now, the federation is just beginning, so I will allow each player up to 3 mens wrestlers and up to 3 women grapplers. How do I sign matches? And how many can I sign each week? To sign a match, just send me the name of your wrestler and who you would like to wrestle against. If you wish to cheat or take any special precautions also tell me that. Each player can send in up to 6 matches each week. You may NOT send in more than two matches for any single wrestler or tag-team. Title defenses/shots do not count against this total. What about special matches? Steel Cage matches and the like often result in injuries to the one (or both) wrestlers involved. So, such matches will only occur at the bi-monthly GrappleMania Supercards and upon agreement of both parties involved. What else do I need to know about? Well, you might want to send in comments along with the matches you send to insult/congratulate/annoy the other(or your own) wrestlers. This may help you in the REP department and if done well, will most likely get you quite a few matches too. Other than that I think that's pretty much it. If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask. Finally, please include with your wrestlers whether they will start out as faces(good guys), heels(bad guys), or neither(Switzerland), this is just to make first round match selections easier, after that it's up to your actions to determine your alignment.
