It's A Crime / Gang vs. Gang From: ug9232@geovax.ed.ac.uk Date: Tue, 07 Jan 1992 23:12:44 +0000 Here in the UK an outfit called KJC Games runs pbms from Adventures by Mail and some of it own as well. In the past I have played It's A Crime but soon got disillusioned soon after the Bosses began operating. Anyway they are now moderating a variant called Gang vs. Gang in which the Bosses are very much played down (and run by the computer) and in which you can secure blocks at the heart of your turf. Does anyone have any experience of this in the UK, US or wherever? and if so what was the impression they got of it compared to IAC. I'm either going to start playing Gang vs. Gang or Monster Island fairly soon, so any comments about the relative merits of either would be appreciated. BTW - The rules summary for Gang vs Gang doesn't contain the firebomb order Is this just a misprint or have they excluded what was quite a fun part of the original IAC. Thanks for any help - dave H.
