Magic Numbers: Cattle 0, Wallamaloo/Redwood 3, Cambridge 0, Sluggers 0. Upset Numbers: Viking 5. As expected, Cambridge clintched the Spade division title this week with a firm win over Bodoe. The Cattle continued their record winning streak, and the Sluggers continued to dominate the Club league. The surprises of the week came from The Wallamaloo Philosophers and the Viking Raiders, both of whom underestimated their opponets, the Berlin Mainiac Warriers and Koolywirtian Yarloops to give up damaging upsets which must be doubly painful so close to the end of the season. The Yarloops new management was not alone in ressurecting teams from the dead, however, as the CSUA manager Ollie Juang managed to pull a big win to keep himself from cinching last place for the Heart League. The Redwoods were certainly pleased to see the slip of both their main competitors this week, and took full advantage of the situation to move into a tie for first. When notified of the move, Comissioner Mel went pale, considering the task of calucalting net points to break the tie between the two teams, since they are tied in the first tie breaker: head to head record. In the very tight race for playoff spots on the spade division, The Novas and The Mandarins gave us a very tight game to match it. With only four points to make the final difference, the Novas emerged on top, forcing the Mandarins to win the rematch next week to stay in the race. The Owls are also in the need of two straight wins, as their loss to the Montreal Maulers ended with more than a hundred point missing from the final tally."
