Diplomacy support question From: as504@cleveland.Freenet.Edu (Kai Hortmann) Date: Thu, 12 Mar 1992 10:30:13 +0000 Please take a look at the following situation and tell me or the group what you think of it: German A Tyr - Vie German A Boh S A Tyr - Vie Austrian A Vie - Boh Austrian A Bud - Vie Austrian A Gal S A Bud - Vie Now the question: Does the German attack on Vienna succeed? Opinion 1: No, the German supported move A Tyr - Vie bounces against the Austrian supported move A Bud - Vie. The Austrian army in Vienna doesn't change that. Opinion 2: Yes, Germany takes Vienna. After the Austrian move A Vie - Boh fails, the supported A Bud - Vie automatically fails too. Then the German supported attack succeeds against the unsupported Vienna. Which opinion do you follow? Before somebody bothers to input the move into the JUDGE: The JUDGE is of opinion 1. -- <* Kai Hortmann - University of Konstanz - Germany *> <* chbrin5@dknkurz1.bitnet or as504@cleveland.freenet.edu *> Referenced By Up
