Duelmasters: What would you like to see? From: sms35849@uxa.cso.uiuc.edu (Scott M. Stortzum) Date: Thu, 19 Mar 1992 19:21:45 +0000 I feel that DM isn't a game that lends itself to changes well. The game has enough complexities to keep people experimenting for a long time. RSI has been running DM for around 8 years and the only big changes so far (other than crits) was the addition of ADM and then later the regional arenas. I know a lot of people who would be quite upset if RSI said, "OK, you've been playing for 8 years and you think you know what works, here's some new ideas to screw you up." I do think some people would be happy about changes, but the majority (IMHO) feel this is a great game as is. Scott p.s. A number of changes have been proposed by Rowdy Roddy, Fishpaw, (where are they?) and The High Evolutionary (AKA-Russ--he has a multiple personality complex) like time limits, new tactics, etc... and have all been shot down pretty quickly by a large number of gamers.
