Well now the Cricket World Cup has finished with many people
rueing their team's demise at a too premature stage of the tournament I can
now offer you all a chance to redeem the standings of your proud club/region/
state/province/county or nation (or anything else you want) in the first
ever play by mail Cricket competition.

This game simulates a One day game and so far those people who have seen it
are quite impressed. Total realism is of course impossible but this is pretty
close. SO.. if you hate bad umpiring decisions (these Umpires have 1000 eyes
and surround the entire playing area!) hate the "New" rain rule (surprise
surprise,, there is no rain in Computer World :) ) and reckon the selectors
are a bunch of fools, then here is the game for you.

If you are interested mail me - astley@franklin.cc.utas.edu.au and I'll
send the rules out to you. The closing dates for interest for season 1 is
1200 GMT 3rd April. I.e next Friday lunchtime in England.

If you send me a message it does not mean I expect you to play..
Time commitments will be minimal... I hope :)
