I also require a list of ALL published campaign settings, adventures etc you are familiar with. Example Turn: You make good time on your journey to the Citadel considering the drizzling rain and heavy fog. Your steeds hooves hit the ground with muffled sounds as it gallops over damp, leaf strewn earth. It has been six months since your exile and you have spent most of your time adventuring in the wilderness honing your fighting and survival skills. The time away from civilization also gave you a chance to contemplate your drastic change in fortunes. After this somewhat brief sabbatical you decide to visit the Citadel of the Mist King to inform him of your parents demise and your brothers treachery. Even if word has already reached him you might get some recent news and perhaps sage advice. Youve heard rumors that the Citadel was called home by anywhere from one thousand to ten thousand inhabitants. Yet when you at last you emerge from the deep forest the mist shrouded structure still leaves you in awe. The Citadel looms up from an island in the middle of the Azure River. Both above and below the city are massive waterfalls. Two bridges entering the city from either side of the river afford the only safe crossing in this region of the Shrouded Mountains making the city geographically important. The Citadel is imposing yet dreary. Its stone buildings are quarried from the same grey basalt as the bedrock on which they sit, as are the citys walls and the keep. The rest of the buildings are half-timbered two and three-story structures, with roofs of thatch or shingle. The cobblestone streets and alleys are always shiny and damp, and everything in the city hosts at least a thin sheen of green moss; many buildings even have thick clumps of ferns growing on the roof. Amid the green-forested slopes and drifting grey rain clouds, the grey-green edifices of the city blend right in. The road bisects the Citadel through the lower city, and a massive gatehouse guards each entrance. A rampart wall surrounds the entire island, with watchtowers evenly distributed along it. Where the lower waterfall spills over the jagged edge, the island rises steeply to a flat-topped promontory. On this slab of rock sits the upper city, consisting of what looks like a market district. Rising from the very tip of the island and towering over the dizzying waterfall is the legendary Sinclair castle and keep, the central point of defense for the entire region. The citys position between two waterfalls and the combination of rain and fog that drift down the slopes constantly shroud the city in thick mists and drizzle. In addition the Shrouded Mountains moist climate ensures heavy growth of mosses and lichens within the city, and nearly every surface has a thin green coat of slick vegetation. You draw your horse to a halt as you survey the city from a distance. The fog occludes any more of a detailed observation. The dirt road gives way to cobblestones a little further along which in turn leads to one of the bridges and the gatehouse which controls passage over the river and into the city. It is an hour or two till sunset. [ This is a new entry for the PBM List.
