Well as a new    player, I really liked what I saw of the rules and the
turn itself.  Indeed, the many details that seem to have been added lately to
me indeed make the realism factor rise, without unduly raising the complexity.
I'll admit, I like the more complex games, but I think from all the number
of E-mail and electronic such games I would rate this one at medium complexity
for beinners to get accustomed to.
    I agree the lore sheets are intriguing to me as a newbie as I still
have not learned anywhere near what is possible, and yet the basic set of
commands presents an interesting mix of possibilties off the bat.  Thus, having
just started, I was intrigued at the beginning and now look to know more.

Once again, this is a newbie's <grin> view of my first turn of the game,
but I certainly did not feel 'overwhelmed' upon viewing all that was involved.
A thorough reading of the rules pretty much made the important facts clear,
and the rest was worth trying to figurthings out!
