Space Colony PBM (Oz players Wanted) From: CHSC9122069G@lust1.latrobe.edu.au (Tri Darkstar) Date: Wed, 10 Jun 1992 05:48:52 +0000 Colonial Terra III In this play by mail, each player controls the destiny of a group of space colonists. Your colony can be one of a number of different types, from Scouts to World Builders. The Skills & Equipment & Ships that each colony can choose at the start, depends on the start-up that you choose to take. The colonist are from a mis-jumped ship which came from Terra. The main computer on board the jump ship went 'insane' and now there is no way of getting back to Terra. The U.N. Members on board disappeared one day, and now there is the 'Trakkan Board' who control the Navy & Marines. So now each and every colony is out in the cold, trying to survive in an un-explored system named 'New Realm'. Each turn you will be sent a copy of the newletter (which player send in general messages to or anything they want others to see), prices list of the trading base that they may be at, and a sheet with your colony status and what happern to them last turn. The game is human moderated so player can do anything they wish. Interaction will other player occurs through the Newletter or Private Messages (or you can ring them up if they give you their address). Anything is possible with this system. Player can Terraform planets or make a genetic virus to attack other players. Basicly there is no aim, just do what you want. The Cost is $5.00, with which you get the Rules, History, Planet List, Start-Up sheets and 5 bucks of credit. The turn around is every two weeks with the cost being 1.50 + .25 per ship. The moves will be sent surface mail, but players can send in there moves by e-mail. This PBM is based off Colonial Terra I, moderated by Ross Lay.
