This PBeM game will be played through our Yahoo Group page, and I'm planning to send at least 2 turns a week. I am currently accepting character submissions and once I've selected all of the characters we'll get started. If you're interested in joining us, shoot me an Email with your character bio (I don't need a full character sheet until you're accepted). This will be a hack-n-slash adventure with a strong focus on roleplaying and creativity. My goal is to run a game with the feel of an in-person D&D game. Be prepared for tricks, traps, and mysteries as you work your way through the dungeon. I'm planning to award double XP for monster kills, and I'll be awarding generous XP bonuses for Roleplay and Creativity, so that the characters can make decent level advancements through the game. The caverns of Kaeltor's Gambit were magically created to store an ancient wizard's treasure. Now there are precious few who have even heard rumors of the existance of Kaeltor's Gambit, and fewer still who have any real ideas what might be inside. One of those who do is a very old wizard named Olphandaur, who is convienced that somewhere within Kaeltor's Gambit is a scroll for a spell that will grant him immortality. He's put together a group of adventurers to brave the Gambit and retrieve the scroll. He's even conjured a portal to the entrance of the Gambit. The adventurers have been recruited from several towns, and hand-selected by Olphandaur, with the understanding that they're about to undertake an extremely dangerous adventure with the potential of fabulous rewards! All that Olphandaur wants is the immortality scroll, the adventurers can keep anything else the happen to find! [ This is a new entry for the PBM List.
