Too many GB things floating in my head. (grin) I _DO_ like the idea of starting tech... Since you start with 4 tech 1's, how about adding 1 point? You can double one tech, or spread it on some. Maybe 1.5 Weapon and 1.5 Shield, or 2.0 drive, or something like that. It'dlet player expres s alot more uniqueness early in the game.
