New Galaxy Game Starting

Galaxy Game Omega

Gag (the Generic Association of Gamers, a club here at WWU) is going to be
starting a new Galaxy game.

In this game the turn orders are processed automatically, and to take advantage
of this there will be one turn due every day for the first 8 turns, then the
schedule will relax to 3 turns a week.  The turns will be due at Midnight GMT
(5pm PDT, 8pm EST). When we go to the 3 turns a week schedule, the turns will
be due on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.

The first turn will be this Saturday (Aug 8th).

with the subject:
	galaxy game Omega request

Please state the name of the race you wish to be, as well as indicating if you
wish to remain anonymous (other players won't get your email address).

Caveats
-------

1) This is a modified version of Galaxy.  There are some new rules and
   strategies that may take some getting used to.  It is recommended that you
   obtain a copy of the new rules (see below) before requesting to be in the
   game.

2) Because the turn output is slightly different, some Galaxy tools may not
   function perfectly when reading it.  There are very few report changes, and
   most are cosmetic, but you may encounter problems.

3) (And this is the bigge) Some of the members of the club are going to be
   playing in the game.  This means that they have access to the account and
   thus could look around at the turns, etc.  Of course, none of us are going
   to cheat, but you can't know that.
