Duelmasters -- Ok, here's a rollup for you and me! From: johnjohn@cco.caltech.edu (John White) Date: Mon, 14 Sep 1992 07:30:29 +0000 Ok, so in Delarq Tor, I got the eighth really good rollup of my career. What would you do with: 4-11-7-12-12-8-16 I see two different warriors. First, a 21 deftness guy: 7-11-7-17-13-8-21 or 5-11-7-17-15-8-21 The problem with this guy is that I'm commiting to an AB or PR with a low strength. Period. I'm cutting weapons selection down to EP, SH, DA, and open hand. No SC, LO, SS, etc. This coupled with little damage seems to spell doom. Now, if I had that secone guy with 11 strength, and 5 con... well, why start, right? Next, a guy with 3 17's: 7-11-7-17-17-8-17 or 5-11-7-17-17-10-17 (why?) or 5-14-7-17-17-8-17 The last would be a decent TP, I suppose. I still don't like the idea of having such a low strenght. A TP with SH-SH? It would do well, eventually, I guess... The second might be a PS. A 5 strength Parry-Strike? A parry-stike with SH-SH or DA-DA? Well... The first guy is the one that I see as the "most playable." We're looking at a PL, LU, or PR using the light weapons like EP, DA, SH, and training for SS and SC. I would think that the Parry-Lunge fighting style would work out the best... As someone pointed out before, little damage is death on a Lunger's record... Ok, what do you all think? -- John White johnjohn@cco.caltech.edu |===============================================================| | Reasons to go to Caltech: | |000) Food? Sleep? Reading? What?
