Illegal to make Battletech PBeM? Most copyrights are there to keep people from making money off of a product they did not design. There was a Battletech MUD game (that is supposed to be back soon) and it is said that it follows Battletech very closely. As I said, there is also a computer game that was designed using the Battletech system, as a Shareware program (I believe). As long as there is no money involved, I do not think FASA would mind.
