Actually it is more of a wargame than a RPG, but it
has roleplaying elements in it. I'm sorry to say that
there is not that much tolkien feeling in it either, but
my information is that it is a good PBM anyway.

In Middle-earth PBM you play one of nations in Middle-
earth. The game is set 1650 years before the war of the
ring. There are 25 nations in all, 10 Free nations (like
Gondor etc), 5 Neutral (like Harad etc), and 5 Evil (like
the Witch-king etc). The Neutral nations have to choose
side at some part of the game.

I don't want to write anything more about the game,
because I don't know that much about it, but you could
send for a infosheet from Gad Games, or if you send me
your address I could post you a copy of a article from
Flagship (37 I think).
