WRONG! VERY WRONG!

The fact is that you cannot bomb a planet unless you SURVIVE the battle.

Ask the Creatians in Galaxy game Alfa if it helps to survive as a defender.

If you attach someone with a ship like 20-1-1-71-0 and the poor man haven't
producet a BIG gun, he will be wiped off the surface of his home planet even
if one or a hundred of his ships survive.

to summarise:

To bomb an enemy planet you must survive with a gun when the battle is over.
