There is already an existing AA spell called Rite of the Vampirelord.
It uses different components, and you do not have to be dead.  Your
spell might be in the ballpark, but you would probably have to
substitute a rare resource for (or use some in addition to) the
nightshade.  This spell would be around 8th to 10th level.

The 3rd issue of the strategic reserve had an article by Jim Landes
that gave several examples of AA spells.  Unfortunately, they have
changed the AA costs since then, so many of the spells would no longer
be acceptable.

One real useful spell is teleport to a given force number.  It is
a 3rd level spell, and costs 10 mana.
