Sometimes you can only find players who want to be the guy who fires the phasers and repairs the ship, but you'll never find a doctor, scientist, or helmsman. Why? Because, most of the time, those positions just aren't "exciting" enough. We don't have that problem. Why? The answer is simple. The USS Kurosaki has a senior staff, yes, but none of those characters are Player Controlled. Our crew is made up entirely of junior officers. Instead of a Chief Flight Control Officer, we have Shuttle Pilots, Shuttle Repairmen. Instead of Commanding and Executive Officers, we have yeomen, quartermasters, etc. Instead of engineers and doctors, we have EPS relay cleaners, janitors, nurses, computer anaylsts, etc. But what makes this game enticing to you? We don't go off performing life-threatening missions. Our games don't depend on the posting speed of the tactical officer who can't fire fast enough to keep us interested. We don't depend on the "once-a-week" player. You only get out of this sim what you put into it. You post fast, you'll find others who post fast and keep involved in a story. You post slow, you'll also find others who post slow and keep involved in your own story. The Kurosaki is home to roughly 700 crew. There are plenty of stories here. You just have to know one of two things: How to FIND that story...OR...How to CREATE that story...
