VGA-planets (slow game) From: krumm@Informatik.TU-Muenchen.DE (Jens-Michael Krumm) Date: Mon, 15 Feb 1993 09:44:56 +0000 As there is interest in a new game of VGA-planets I'm voluntering for hosting one. This game will be a slower version. This means the turn are due around 18.00 CET (12.00 ET) and will be send out in the next morning until 10.00 CET and they are due the next day (but I'll think about this until the game starts). If all turns are in my box and I've time, I'll run the turn earlier (some gifts might help <G>). I'll start the game if there are 8+ players but not before next MO. This will be a beginners game (means it's the first game I host) and if there are more then 11 signups I'll take the unexperienced ones (as there others play some games). This game will be medium or long distance (I'll experiment with the distances a little bit before setup). We'll start with the Tech-6-shareware version if someone still needs some time until he gets the high-tech version from Tim (including me, I'm waiting for it). But after 1 or 2 weeks we surely switch to tech 10. Players currently signed on (please confirm): Bob Crane ( rcrane@wsuaix.csc.wsu.edu ) Larry Chang ( lflchang@undergrad.math.uwaterloo.ca ) Markus Stenberg ( fingon@archtwr.tower.nullnet.fi ) If you need a shareware version of this game, the uu_code-utility (for making the turns Emailable and back incl. checksum) or if you want to play a special race (please with second choice or won't play xy statement) or if you only want to sign up, mail to: krumm@informatik.tu-muenchen.de --JENS Up
