GPDG - Galaxy PBeM Development Group From: stone@athena.cs.uga.edu (Beldar Conehead) Date: Thu, 18 Feb 1993 02:02:25 +0000 The Galaxy PBeM Development Group is beginning to form, and I, as tenative organizer, am putting out a general request for persons interested in being members. So, are you interested in PBeM games? Have you played "Galaxy" but think it could be better? Are you interested in the rewarding experience of working with a fine group of individuals towards improving the Galaxy PBeM game? Then we are probably for you :) Currently we have need of not only C programmers, but people familiar with document processing: stuff like [di]troff, TeX, etc. In addition, because of the fact that we plan to support multiple platforms, we need some very C competent individuals out there with access to DEC VAX/VMS and other non-UNIX platforms. (If you happen to be competent with UNIX C programing, though, we won't turn you down :) Mail me (stone@athena.cs.uga.edu) for more information!
