PBM Company Welcoming Freelance Designs...

The game company New World is in the process of designing and
programming several new play-by-mail games that will be appearing within
the next six months.

Because of this, I am happy to announce that be are accepting
proposals for pbm's designed by freelance designers and writers. Accepted
designs will grant the author 5% royalties on all gross income from their
work. Due to the professional nature of this, a number of guidelines are
necessary; these are outlined below:

1) Proposals must include player's rulebook and, if necessary,
		algorithims for the processing of turns.
	2) There is a preference for pbm's of a strategic nature; still,
		all proposals will be considered.
	3) Games must be able to include AT LEAST 10 players, and
		preferably, the minimum number of players for any particular
		game should not exceed 20.
	4) Designs and rules will become the property of New World. In the
		event that said design is not utilized by New World for a
		consecutive period of five years, rights and ownership will
		revert to the original designer. In exchange for this, 5%
		royalties on gross profits for said design will be paid out
		to the designer.
	5) Proposals must fall under the category of pbm's able to be
		completely computer moderated; no direct referee interaction
		should be necessary once the game is underway.

As an additional by-the-way, two other pbm's are in the design and
initial write-up stage; if there are any comments or suggestions on what
people would like to see in pbm's, or what they would NOT like to see, I
would be extremely interested in hearing about them. :-)
