: I was given a formula which works out most of the time.  Take your

Bonus for spending money:
========================

2 x required money --> 20%
 3 x required money --> 30%
 4 x required moeny --> 40%

Calculate the chance as such:
  chance = chance + (bonus * chance)

Example: Imagine you have a 40% chance and you are spending two times the
   required money.
   Your chance then is : 40% + (40%*20%) = 40% + 8% = 48%
   Another way is to multiply the chance by 1.2, 1.3, 1.4

There are also little affects by the season, summoner preffers
winter (I know), a druid the 100% months (wild guess),...

It makes also a difference, who build a mage guild e.g. which arcane skill
he has, and in which category you are studying. In the same way as when you
are a runemaster and you want to research a seer spell.
