The Linking and Binding riddle From: baidins@dori.cis.udel.edu (Juris Baidins) Date: Tue, 20 Apr 1993 21:59:03 +0000 I asked for answers to the following riddle: Linked and yet linked again bound to be bound for binding once to hold for great ages three til one did find himself free. Two answers fit at least two lines: 1) Melkor, imprisoned for three great ages, fits lines 3 and 4. But 1 and 2 do not fit. 2) Angainor, the chain used to bind Melkor, fits much better. A chain has links, binds, did hold Melkor for three ages until he was freed. I will use Angainor as an answer. If that is not the answer, will post again in two weeks.
