DM: formula for endurance From: dresnick@athena.mit.edu (David I Resnick) Date: Thu, 08 Apr 1993 16:34:37 +0000 Hi, Does anyone have a formula for predicting endurance levels accurately? I've seen the formula (ST+CN)*WL mentioned, however it is not adequate for all of my data. For example, I have a 13 5 7 21 17 4 17 WS who has GOOD Endurance Not that I'm complaining about this, but it seems to be too high! Any permutation of this formula which I have tried so far leaves folks with only average endurance with higher values. Is there just a random factor thrown in here, or am I ignoring something important? The only possible lead I have is that under his "is a GENIUS!" line, he has the comment "never wastes his endurance needlessly" Could it be that high WT provides an endurance bonus? Is this dependant on the comments? (people have previously claimed on the net that the comment is meaningless) Thanks for any light folks could shed on this! -David -- David Resnick dresnick@athena.mit.edu Up
